This year's MPL was held on Madhwa Hostel. The team has been categorized into 3 groups, having 11 players with 4 extra players in each team. Each team had to play 4 league matches consisting of 10 overs. The teams were Master Blasters lead by Kiran S S, Power Players lead by Venkatesh Prasad and Leg Cutters lead by Vishwanath Bhat.
