The 70th Independence Day celebration was initiated
by flag hoisting ceremony by Vasudev Bhat and Vasanth Kumar. The welcome speech
was given by Venkatesh Gaonkar, who stressed on the importance of independence
day.
Later, the “Swachchh Madhwa Andholan” was flagged off by the
Mitravrindha.
