Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swamaiji

 On the occasion of Raghavendra Swamiji's Aradhana, the Warden gave an enlightening talk about the life-history of the great saint Raghavendra Swamiji, on 11th, August  2017. The religious environment created in the hall was instrumental in lifting the spirits of the students.

1st Event- CROSSWORD

    The Crossword event, in both English and Kannada, was conducted on 10th August, 2017. The event kick-started with the organizers giving a brief history about the origin of crossword puzzles and further they spoke about the crossword veteran, A. N. Prahlad Rao. The students actively participated in large numbers.

His Holiness Sri Sri Vishwapriya Teertha Swamiji graces Madhwa Hostel with his presence

On the 13th of July, 2017, we felt privileged to have His Holiness, Sri Sri Vishwa Priya Theertha Swamiji in our hostel. He arrived at around eight in the evening, while we all waited to welcome Him and his assistants.
He delivered valuable discourses to inmates of the hostel, which has brought great inspiration for the youth to invest a few minutes in 'Nithya Karma' and also gave us an insight about the divine 'Gayathri Mantra'.

"You are never fully dressed without a smile!"

Madhwa hostel is synonymous with koole. We needed a reason to celebrate. Lo and behold- Samyukta!! SAMYUKTHA 2017 gave us the platform to celebrate the fact that MH boys stay together as a family. The hostel boys were very enthusiastic from the morning getting ready with the stage decoration and their programs. The day was special because of the presence of our hostel seniors who had visited our hostel from far away places. The stage was adorned with ARAMANE themed art. 

The day started with lighting the lamp and the guests were duly welcomed. there were various prizes distributed for the various competitions and events held in the hostel. The prize distribution was followed by curtain raiser Dance performance, Yakshagana and a humorous play. The stage performance was followed by a feast. There were three more exciting dance performances which were highly entertaining. 

It was a special day and fun for everyone. May we stay happy and blessed as ever!
